Peter O’Rourke qualified as a solicitor in 1984 having obtained his Honours Law degree from Queen’s University Belfast and has been with E and L Kennedy since then.
He became a partner in the firm in 1989 and sole principal in 2005. His work is mainly house conveyancing, accident claims, wills and probate. He is a member of The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Caoimhe obtained an Honours Law degree from Queen’s University Belfast and went on to study at The Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s where she obtained a Distinction in her professional qualification in 2005. Caoimhe has also obtained a Masters with Commendation in Criminal Justice in 2008. Caoimhe has valuable experience in defence litigation, employment law, conveyancing and medical negligence law, probate and licensing.
Caoimhe is also a member of the Children’s Order Panel and the Guardian ad Litem Panel of Solicitors.
Tutu obtained her Masers in Legal Science Degree from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 and went on to study at The Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s. She completed her Training Contract with Directorate of Legal Services gaining valuable experience in public law family, judicial reviews, litigation and inquests. Prior to her legal career, Tutu worked as an environmental consultant and has significant experience in environmental management and contaminated land issues. She is also interested in immigration and mental health law.
